| Chicago NW Suburban Alumnae of Delta Delta Delta |
We are a group of active Delta Delta Delta Alumnae who live in
the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We are diverse in age,
background, & profession. For those who grew up here or
have friends here, we offer another way to socialize and
network. Each member adds unique qualities to the makeup of
the Chicago NW Suburban Alumnae Group.
We meet once a month (usually the 2nd Tues. of each month)
for an interesting program, philanthropic event, or just to
socialize. In addition to regular meetings, exciting events are
planned for Tri-Deltas who share interests & hobbies
throughout the year. Some past events have included girls
night out, bowling, movie nights, couples dinners, & comedy
club shows.
Our group has been involved with many charitable
organizations in the area including Wellness Place, Cleft Lip &
Palate Institute, Children's Hospice International, Bear
Neccessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, & Loyola Hospital's
Ronald McDonald House. From gift certificate sales to
poinsettia sales, our group's fundraising proceeds directly
impact those in our community. We raised over $1,100 last
year which benefitted Delta Delta Delta Foundation and Relay
for Life. We also make donations to collegiate chapters in
need.

Let's kickoff our 2010-2011 year with a fun evening of
appetizers and drinks. New members are encouraged to
attend this meeting!
October 12 - Trends in Window Treatments
Time: 7:00 p.m. (officer's meeting at 6:15 p.m.)
Location: Member's home, Long Grove
Cost: None
Member Diane Sherman, owner of Windows Design by
Diane, will show us the current trends in custom window
treatments and how the perfect treatments can transform
your room.
November 9 - Founder's Day
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Gianni's Cafe, 18 West Station St., Palatine
Cost: $27
Come celebrate the founding of Tri-Delta in 1888.
December 14 - Holiday Potluck & White
Elephant Gift Exchange
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Member's home in Long Grove
Cost: None
Please bring a dish to share. And of course bring your
wrapped crazy white elephant gift!
January 11 - Girls Night Out/New Member
Night
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: La Tasca Tapas, Arlington Heights, IL
A great opportunity to chat and get to know one another.
New members are encourage to attend!
February 8 - Book Club
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Member's home in Libertyville
Cost: None
Our twist on a Book Club...bring or discuss your favorite
book. Also bring any books that you would like to swap
with others.
March 8 - Game Night
